Description
This capacitive touch sensor can operate in 2 modes: Latching and Momentary. It has an on board LED indicator to show when sensor is triggered. In the normal state, the module output is low, with low power consumption. When a finger touches the sensor, the module output is high. In latching mode, one touch on and one touch off. In momentary mode, touch to on and release to off.
You can use this sensor behind surfaces such as plastic, glass, or non-metallic materials. As long as your finger comes close enough, not necessarily touching, the sensor will pick up and trigger an output.
